This site is generated by Hugo and hosted on Cloudflare Pages.

There is a mirror for this site at GitHub Pages’ subdomain hfziu.github.io. (I have unpublished the GitHub Pages but the repository remains public) Hopefully this backup remains accessible in case I am unable to renew my own domain due to force majeure (e.g., bankruptcy? death? 😢).

• 27 Feb Removed the dependency on Hugo ʕ•ᴥ•ʔ Bear theme.
• 19 Feb Images have been moved to the Cloudflare ecosystem (no longer auto-convert to WebP using web-server-go).

2025

• 21 May This blog is now part of my personal notebook (a repository of plaintext notes, using foam to manage bidirectional links) as a directory. I’m using GitHub Actions to deploy it to Cloudflare Pages, instead of the Cloudflare Pages GitHub App, since the latter doesn’t support conditional deployment based solely on changes within the ./blog subdirectory.

2024

• 28 May I start applying Short URLs to some pages and blog posts, e.g., /diff. Those URLs are intended to last long (the domain name is related to my legal name, so I expect to renew it for as long as possible).

• 23 Apr Switch to Hugo ʕ•ᴥ•ʔ Bear theme with minor modifications:

  • Use system-ui as the primary font-family to align the website’s appearance with your system and browser font settings. The typeface you see is your choice :P - hope you like it!

• 20 Sep Image hosting switched to self-hosted web-server-go.
• 19 Sep Add random section and ruby annotation support (example).
• 18 Sep Disabled multilingual mode.
